Got my final plane for the event setup. Now I just need to start charging a bunch of batteries and getting my camping stuff together. Zupair came out at 490g

Well, there is light at the end of tunnel. I think I’m going to make it. Got some graphics on the Jalapeño. The MiniSR is all painted, just needs a few more decals and then some clear coat.

@thenated0g Try Pajaro Dunes location on Windfinder...

Windy.com shows mid teens on Tuesday and Wednesday - still pretty good. (Thursday thru Sun not yet visible) The 5 mile buoy will almost always have higher winds then the shore.

I hope the weather cooperates for the event - I was pretty close to pulling the trigger on a run to the Bay area, when I got called to a 5AM Monday morning flight for business trip - perhaps next year

MiniSR is done. I had some issues with the clear on the wing. I’m using rattle can and the base color was only done last weekend so not fully cured I suspect. The clear wrinkled it in a few places. Nothing a sand and redo wouldn’t fix but a bit disappointing nonetheless. Makes it easier to sell now lol. Weighs about 38oz. So I hope we have enough wind.

I’ve also decided to sell a few more kits, I have my eye on a Vettore from Glider-IT.

Saturday Diner - Potluck!!​

Hey all if you are planning to attend the potluck diner on Saturday night please bring a dish to share with others. If you have never had a potluck meal, basically everyone puts their food out on the tables, then get in line and you fill up your plate with whatever you like from all of the amazing goodies on the table.

At this point I see a number of people signed up for hot dogs, so we probably have enough hot dogs and sausages. If you have not posted up on the spread sheet, you can just post up here and we will get it onto the list. So far it looks like:

• hotlinks and buns
• bbq chicken thighs
• A lot of nice hot Spaghetti
• something for desert
• potatoe salad
• Onion Olive Cheese Bread (It's like a pizza dish)
• Tri-Tip
• drinks, hot dogs and buns
• Good brats from my local German Deli, jambalaya ? Cajun requests ?
• probably chili
• Fruit Salad or whatever is needed
• CHIPZ HAPPEN + salsa
• pasta
• veggie dogs
• somethin good
• Sunny's Killer Brownies

And a lot of people listed TBD or unknown. Hot meals are always great if you can. We should have some camp fires and BBQs at the main camp to share. Sound slike we will have a 4 or 5 tables at the main site also.

Bring your drinks and a comfy chair! Bonus points if you can bring some firewood to share.

Interesting to watch the video.. You will see that almost everytime someone throws from the back of the plane they get a bad result. Throw from the nose.

@Wayne yeah every time i see somebody slope launch a wing from the back like a football...Maybe if you step back out of the wind and get it going first.
