Sunset State Beach Camp & Fly May 6-7th 2023!!!!!!

for those of you craving for more slope fun with combat,
there is the Coyote Hills 4th of July classic yearly event, back after the COVID.

Back by popular demand !! from absolutely no one
The annual (almost) slope combat and general goofiness day with all your favorite events!
Where: Glider Hill (lower hill) at Coyote Hills Park in Newark, CA
When: Tuesday July 4th, 2023 ~ 1PM until whenever
Events: As usual, Limbo Racing, The Bagel Drop, Lucky Lander and more
Bring: Crash resistant foamie glider (no motors), water, sunblock, a previous year's bagel if you've got it.

As always, I'll have a couple of spare glider setups with me, so even if you show up empty handed you can still participate.

There was a point where I was trying to fly pretty close to the 360 camera. Didn't see that in the footage yet.. :)
 
Yes, mostly foam at Sunset. But we did have a bit of everything.

I love flying foam at Sunset. That site really lends itself wonderfully to mix of models, but since it offers easy recovery, foam combat and silly things is high on my list.

Would be fun to fly an Alpenbrise there and come through the foam at speed. :) Hmm..
