Here are some pics. I didn’t take too many unfortunately.
Never thought I’d get the chance to own an Aeroic plane! I saw it Thursday when @Wayne and the Aloft guys were unpacking and immediately started to bug him about selling it to me. On Sunday morning as I was walking over to their campsite he started walking toward me holding it and I knew I was going home with it! Wayne always treats his friends and customers right!! BTW….sorry @TahoedWoo...Kelly with a Sessanta.
Enjoy!
Doc.
No, because my, "friend," thought it would be HILARIOUS if he dive bombed my Weasel and he knocked my canopy and battery right out of the compartment. I somehow found the canopy and Weasel but the battery was somewhere else, which ended my quest for the railslide. Next time for sure.Scott and I rolled up on Friday for the day to check it out. It's a really cool flying spot with a sweet little campground to go with it!
I got to rap out with Red, Shoelace(did you ever get that railslide?), Nate, Jlink125 and Mike from Florida. Super cool being surrounded by like minded rc flyers.
I'm definitely planning on camping and hanging out next year!

Duke had one of the best weekends of his life. He had a blast the entire time and will be there next year for sure. I'll just 3x the tick meds. Ha.Just a quick post for now -

How did the Yamaha fly? With all that momentum of flying that weekend I made it to Tick Point to maiden a couple planes and fly my Jester. It was ripping out there with some very strong winds in the right direction. You can see on that second pic how Tick Point got its name. Luckily I didn't have to pull any off of Duke. I don't have any action shots as Duke has been a very slow learner with the camera and it's just a bunch of pics of squirrels.
The Yamaha was super cool and looks ridiculously good in the sky, but it was a bit too windy to really feel it out without any ballast. It's a fairly light plane and is probably in its element in 10-12 mph winds or so but I'm not sure... Still very new. I was able to penetrate but it was getting blown around a bit and I'd guess the winds were at about 20mph. It rolls absolutely beautifully... It just looks incredible. The Jester was screaming through the wind and it's the most time I've had with that plane so far. The North to South passes were insane. The Camp and Fly was only my second time flying the Jester, so having it up for an extended period today was awesome. How did the Yamaha fly?
