SVOLAZZO V2 - VTPR

Looking good.

Stephane - We have been refining our processes and should be able to jump into your project this year if you are still wanting to work with us.

Cool.

So @Doc J you have the 2 points of view Obi-wan was talking about.
Yes, I, too, have designed aerobatic slope models, Stephane... and I think your approach is quite unique.

I'd love to see the result of your cooperation with Aloft.

Good to have "new blood" It helps the Gene pool stay healthy...

Cheers,

Doc.

Hi Stephane, I have made 4 commercial aerobatic models:

I designed the Vector II (2M) and the Minivec (1.8M), which RCRCM sold.

Then, I designed the Aresti 2M and Aresti 2.75M, which my company, Aeroic, sold.

If you go to YouTube, you can find lots of Aresti videos.

Note: These are not VTPR flippers, but meant for big aeros in big air

Vector II - designed in 1986 and made about the year 2000, and sold by RCRCM

Mini Vec made in about 2005 - sold by RCRCM

The Aresti 2M and 2.75M were made in 2016 and sold by my company, Aeroic.

Oh, you are this Doc, Doc!
I have seen your designs and many related videos on the web, obviously! Very cool, very dynamic, finely designed! Congrats!
I have also red some articles from you, about airfoils for aerobatics if I remember well.
Great achievements!

All lost Stephane - the moulds were stolen.

Cheers,

Doc.

Ow, unbelievable... Sorry for that Doc, I can't imagine what you've felt.
The knowledge remains.
Actually, I'm working with a UK company to make a small (1.2M) all-balsa VTPR model, among other things.

It's fun to work in Balsa!

Also, I saw the new French "Karei" models. The fuselage looks very familiar (!) but based on a quick analysis, I don't think the roll rate will be enough for snappy aerobatics—just my opinion.

Cheers, and keep up the good work!

Doc - yes THAT Doc
