There seems to be a lot of interest in flying wings recently, so I thought I'd start a thread about it.

Here is "Trinity" This is a new 3M fast plank wing coming from Germany: https://www.facebook.com/compositercgliders.

If you look at the aerofoil section, it will be similar to some you have seen before. But not on flying wings.

By the way, please pay attention to the wingtips. Now, they might not look very interesting or even very sharp and fast, but I can tell you that these are the best tested lowest induced drag, vortex concentrating wingtips I have ever seen in the wind tunnel.

Stormchaser SC 60: Another new wing from Europe but a bit smaller at 60". It flies well, fast and agile, according to Pierre Rondel.

Here are the aeros from the Trinity:

Video made by CRCG—now I don't necessarily trust this 100% as it is purely digital input, but in any case, even if it is not 100% real air dynamically accurate, it does give a good idea of the theoretical undisturbed flows and if correct, it's going to be insanely fast and manoeuvrable.
