@thenated0g,

Can Dev foam software do fuselages too, or do you need to design in a different program and use the CAM software to make the files for cutting?

Right side of the bed.
For Father's day 2011 my youngest son gave me this Reactor Bipe. He was 15 years old so this was a give far beyond what a father would expect. I'm not sure if it's the magnitude of the gift or what -- but I seemed to have every excuse in the book for not getting it ready to fly. I'd dabble with it for a bit and hit a snag and then ignore it for many months. It was in storage for over a year during two moves and every other thing. In my new home the plane hung in the shop and taunted me. I finally resolved that I would fly it before Father's Day this year. I don't know if my son even cared one way or another any more, but it was a big deal for me. One FrSky item of note -- I put an S8R in it with the stabilization disabled (for the time being). It also has the FAS100S as the 80Amp Neuron was not available when I was setting up the power system. In addition to FAS100S I also have SP-FLVS.

I finally overcame the goblins that were inhibiting me and got the maiden flight under my belt a couple days ago. The plane flew perfectly and cut a perfect knife edge coast to coast first try on maiden. I'm pleased and relieved.

Devcnc is just the cam that controls the CNC. Devfus is for fuselages. It's pretty cool. All the software is free to try you just can't export u til purchased.

nothing too complex, but I have mostly finished restoring my EPP Fusion that I was gifted - just need to centre the servos and end points and it should be good to go!

@Konrad - yes - it is easy to forget - now has CF ailerons (first time with CF - too much epoxy and not enough vacuum)! :)

Little idea i had in my head, cut out last. Basically a slope wing with a fuselage and tail that could look like whatever jet/plane you want. No elevator to keep it simple and light.

First time ever had an ssd failed. work or personal. Of course it was my cnc CAM pc. So while waiting for windows to reinstall and update i started putting together an updated version of a plank i had made a few years back by hand. This one is slightly bigger at 71", pw51 airfoil. Will be a quick and light build to confirm cg and stuff. Full version will have ballast tube like my original. 2x 2mm spars top and bottom, glass fiber tape, laminate.
