Grem-electric

Well, that looked like a learning experience in all respects.:p

Seems strange to see a Gremlin with noise! I'd forgotten how noisy electrics can be.

Thanks to Jure for the video upload coaching.

Cheers,

Doc.

I have been dialing the grem down since first flight. Have about dozen or so on it but it was me being nervous and thought I was close to fence.

It still looks a little bit Twitchy, Mike. Maybe take off a little bit of that elevator. 6 mm (1/4") up and the same down will work.

Its designed to do aerobatics, so if you give it input it will respond!:ROFLMAO:

I'm sure you'll get it tamed - its the first one ever to be converted, so you are a pioneer - expect some development work!

Me? I love it!

Cheers,

Doc.

Gremlin E
any suggestions on how to convert a Gremlin's nose to fit my old brushless motor?
...some tips and hints are welcome to gain and boost someones mental confidence for the next building steps on an electric conversion. I never done this on such a unique (slim) shape.

Should be able to force a round motor mount in there, but sand away some of the inside first to thin the layup. You may need to do some small cuts if you want it fully round, then some composite work and repaint. I'd probably get as round as I can and then use a spinner that is as wide as the widest section.
