@Doc J I saw the green livery one on aloft recently. That's going on the list of future planes once my skill level matches it! It seems like a hardcore version of the Ahi or the Le Fish. Love it!
Kelly
Pretty aerobatic on the slope, Kelly but maybe just a tad too kooky looking for most people's taste.

I'm waiting for the video - it was not designed as an electric plane but apparently it does quite well.

I'll post it when I get it.

Cheers,

Doc

I have been wanting an E Gremlin since the Gremlin came out! I think it has a really cool look...
Its actually the same slope Gremlin, Chris and not a special E-version - just has some grunt in the front added. I have known about this for quite a while but the project got postponed so its only recently reared its beautiful head again (!)

I'll post more as I get it.

Cheers,

Doc.

Maybe 3D.

Reminds me of Kolbutin ( pure 3D glider) or the Flip (motorized version) both by Top Model in Europe. The horizontal rotates 90 degrees up/down to spin the around..

I dont think he did it as crazy as that - not really E-VTPR! Anyway the Gremlin has a new anti-VTPR invention: ELEVATORS! :ROFLMAO:

But actually I dont have that much info.

Cheers,

Doc.

Little hack saw here, carbon/fiberglass there and we can make anything spin:giggle:
Actually, GP you have just articulated a great truth except for one point of the equation: "WE"

Unfortunately not everyone is capable, or sometimes willing to take a hacksaw to a perfectly good model, and would you believe it - they have the effrontery to want ME, the designer to do it!

Dayum! :p

Actually that's why I try hard to listen to you guys.(y)(y)(y)

You never know what might happen...:geek:

Cheers,

Doc.

Please learn from my mistake. The few durability Issues I have with my Gremlin can be traced to the rudder. I failed to add a rear tail skid to protect the rudder. It is easy to snag the rudder and rip it off. A little fairing adds a lot of durability to an otherwise fun ship.

I'll post what my skid looks like next time I near my Gremlin.

Excellent video. I really enjoyed it. So this plane is electric and the can stay aloft via thermals and electric power?
