Aeroic Models new factory, new construction methods and new models. What do you get when you choose an Aeroic model?

Hi Guys,
well, the very first Tyhooon MKII Toccata is out of the moulds. I have to say that I am REALLY happy (and trust me, that is not easy) with the fits and finishes on this brand new airframe.

As many of you will know, this is the first update on the original model that I designed for RCRCM actually almost two decades ago. I have been over every millimetre of the orginal design and incorporated many suggestions from so many helpful flyers who have trained on the RCRCM version.

So; has it been improved in twenty years? Quite a bit I think:

Typhoon MKII 2 metre all-rounder (to supersede Typhoon MKI) Whats different?
  • One fuse for glider and e-version - Sleek but with LOTS of room for electrics, etc.
  • Round (spinner adaptable) fuse nose (~38mm diameter)
  • No nose cone – canopy type
  • Beefed up tailboom for those 'not so stright' tail-whip landings
  • Completely revised Aerodynamics.
  • JH 817 airfoil - my best ever for this application.
  • Special BSLD derived wing rigging.
  • "OLD" Tech = "Optimized Lift Distribution" Puts the wing lift where it needs to be, and there only.
  • Larger flaps
  • MUCH Larger wing joiner
  • Wing ballast only - though a fuselage ballast tube may be added.
  • Lower Servo MOI.
  • Elevator type horizontal stabilizer - no more AMT
  • Rudder and elevator servos mounted in the fin.
  • Full carbon wing standard on “S” model
  • Double carbon wing standard on “SS” version.
  • Double sine wave spar on "SS" model.
  • Full carbon fuse (radio friendly) version option on “S” model. Standard on “SS” type.
  • “L” (Light) version option
  • Aramid/glass nose
Cheers, Doc.
