Is it possible to turn off wing symmetry?

Hi all... I'm using Wing Helper to design a wingsail for a proof-of-concept boat model. It's not a huge problem, but it'd be handy to be able to remove the opposing wing from the design and patterns. Here I just increased the wing halves distance to keep the unneeded one out of the frame. Thanks!

Hmm, not that I am aware of. I just took a look to see if there was a setting that I never looked for, but didn't see anything.

Anyone else have any suggestions? Technically, I think your wing half spacing in a creative work around. Once you are done with the design in Wing Helper you could export the data, and just toss out the extra parts. I like to import the data into my CAD program and I then reassemble in 3D and other features I'm interested in. But you want to do as much as possible in Wing Helper as a reimport is a major restart in CAD.

Thanks for the quick reply. And yes, that's the plan. Wing Helper's export formats will work with my laser cutter software with minimal tweaking. This design will also require a smaller vertical surface aft to control the wing relative to the wind so I'm interested in seeing the tail surface enhancements mentioned in the futures roadmap. For now, that's a separate file and some trial and error to figure out the required moment and deflection.
