LATEST NEWS:
V84 now available.
The R-XSR is now supported by UNI (V79).
A guide document is in the second post (cannot have more than 10 attachments on one post). Link to Ethos scripts added.
V78 for the G-RX6 and G-RX8 improves Vario function.
V59 for the RX8R-PRO posted, fixes servo twitch problem.
Here are the latest release firmware and script files for the UNI firmware.
All updates will now be using the Sub-Master version (that requires activation if installed to a Rx that is not already activated).
Receivers currently supported:
Script files are being maintained here (openTx,EdgeTx,ErskyTx):
https://github.com/offer-shmuely/frsky-accst-uni-rx-scripts
and here (Ethos): https://github.com/strgaltdel/Ethos-Uni-Receiver.
Configuration LUA and Basic scripts for non-ETHOS radios: UNI-Setup7.zip. (changed to support S6R/S8R).
Statistics LUA script non-ETHOS radios: XxRstatv5e.zip.
Activation BAS script for erskyTx radios: ActivateBas.zip.
For the S6R and S8R see UNISXR.pdf in the next post. UNI-SxR script (erskyTx,openTx, EdgeTx)files are in UNI-SxR.zip, Ethos script in next post.
UPDATE to version 85. Fix the servo rates enable setting was still specific to the bound Tx, it is now specific to the Rx.
UPDATE to version 84. Fix the problem UNI didn't bind to a XJT-Lite module. Allow to invert CH7 (SBUS pad) on S6R. Re-initialise CC2500 after 30 missed packets.in case corrupted by spark ignition.
UPDATE to version 83. Support S6R/S8R. Fix the problem that the servo pulse period was set specifically for each Tx. The periods are now specific to the Rx. Fix a bug on RX8R and RX8R-PRO where when using SBUS-IN and the main Rx loses signal, the servo outputs may freeze until channel 1 changes.
UPDATE to version 57. This fixes a bug where enabling the SBUS channel map was not retained through a power cycle. (Version number display corrected from 56 to 57)
Sub-Master UNI firmware for the X8R(X6R), X4R, RX8R and RX8R-PRO: uni_57sm.zip.
Sub-Master (Update) UNI firmware for the RX4R and RX6R: RX4R_75sm.zip. This fixes a bug where enabling the SBUS channel map was not retained through a power cycle. Also fixes bug in version 74 where channel 1 wasn't working.
UPDATE to version 59 for RX8R-PRO: UNI_rx8rpro_59sm.zip. This fixes a bug where a channel output on servo 6, 7, 8 or the SBUS as servo very occasionally had the wrong value (was 940uS too long). V58 fixed a bug where setting the SBUS output to be a servo output was not activated through a power cycle. Also includes SPort polling rate reduction if too much data is being submitted.
VERSION 80 adds FBUS support, for control and telemetry, to all receivers (on the SPort signal). X6R,X8R,X4R etc. enable telemetry, regardless of how the bind was done, when not activated.
G-RX6 and G-RX8 allow the built in vario to be disabled, hold the "bind" button pressed for 4, or more, seconds to toggles the setting. The blue LED will flash 3 times to indicate the action.
Scripts for ETHOS in the next post.

Universal ACCST Firmware (UNI)
There is not a day that we do not hear from customers that are having binding issues due to the V1 or V2 firmware binding issues. While it is simple for us to explain, the solution can be a bit ugly to incorporate for many users. There must be a better solution? Well, we got tired of waiting for...
