Hey Everybody,
I have purchased a new jet and I am looking to sell my Pilot RC F-16 in the Thunderbirds scheme as I need the space. I bought it from my friend who was the original owner. When I got it, I went through it and cleaned up the wiring/redid the layout for the electronics. Its in great shape with some minor bumps and scrapes from being flown. Never been crashed or had any damage other than wing tip scrapes and some scrapes on the bottom of the tail. I designed and 3d printed the missile mounts for the wingtips so they could easy be replaced after being scraped up. I will be happy to give the buyer these files if they want them and include a spare set of printed tips.
I also upgraded the elevator servo arms to metal and added some wood reinforcements where the servos/covers mount to make sure they are secure and wont come loose ( I wasnt happy with the mounting security from factory).
It has the following gear installed;
-AR Smooth Flite 16
-Pilot brake controller
-Pilot gear controller and sequencer
-Intairco UAT
-Custom landing light on nose gear door with light controller
-Smoke system, tank mounted beside main tank
-Two receiver batteries and smoke system battery
-Two Jeti receivers (Rex7 and R3)
-Custom pilot and scale cockpit
In addition to the jet, I also have a NIB fuselage including the canopy, one elevator (not pictured), all gear doors, engine cover, interior trays, rudder/vertical and pitot tube. This was a backup that has only been out of the box once when received it to inspect it. All you would need is wings and the other horizontal stab and you would have a complete second airframe. When I looked into doing this through Banana Hobby, the estimate they gave me was about $950 for the missing pieces.
I do have the Swiwin 80b turbine that is still in this jet and could sell it as a Bind n Fly. It has 13 hours on it and has never had any issues or been in an accident. This turbine was in an L39 previously that my buddy had and then he moved it to this jet when he he got it and sold the L39.
Everything listed: $4400 OBO
Without Swiwin Turbine: $3250 OBO
If you dont want the Jeti receivers, subtract $100 from price.
