Zepsus switch male lead failure

Mrfski

New User
I’ve seen this a number of times and now on a new Zepsus switch I just bought; the power lead backs out of the plug when you connect the switch to wither the Rx or charging plug. I’m going to solder on new male leads from a better quality wire.
Losing the power lead can result in serious problems.
This manufacturer needs to upgrade their connectors.

Hey Mart,

We had a recent report of this from a customer and have already talked with Zepsus and they should have already taken action to solve this issue. We went through our local stock and thought we had caught the questionable units. Seems we missed one.

Wanted to let you know the manufacturer has been made aware and has already switched to a new connector. The blue ones were some German thing that he seeked out just to avoid issues, but recently they no longer seem to function as they had in the past. Probably worn out molds or some such thing.
