XSR-SIM not binding to X20S

Brand new X20S transmitter and XSR-SIM dongle. Fully updated firmware on both the transmitter and the dongle. I put the tx in ACCST D16 mode, hit bind, ch1-8 no telem, the dongle starts flashing rapidly, but doesn't bind. Tx just sits there. I've tried ch1-8 w telem, w/o telem, ch9-16 w & w/o telem. No luck. The dongle starts flashing rapidly each time, but the tx never completes the bind.

Any ideas for me?

maybe your SIM dongle has obsolete firmware , incompatible with your TX.

Update, I got it to bind. The transmitter never indicates success, it just stays stuck on the "Binding..." note, but the dongle is flashing rapidly which I learned indicates a successful bind. I tap "ok" on the stuck "Binding..." transmitter screen, unplug the dongle, plug back in, and voila - it works.

Lesson learned here: On the X20S with firmware as of today, this is the behavior you can expect

I have had the exact same experience with both the dongle and RXs. Let us now how it goes using your radio on your OS. It can be a little bit frustrating initially figuring out how to get it to work in Windows. YMMV

When using ACCST the bind will always need to be manually turned off. It does not turn itself off.
