In this thread it was asked what was going on with the new family of servos from FrSky. I think they are calling this family of servo Xact.

Well six months ago there was a lot of marketing hype about these. But now I can't find anything about these servo. I think it is telling that none of the independent FrSky dealers appears to be selling these. So what gives?
Is "F-port" still vapor ware?
I saw some prototype discussion but nothing really other than hopes and expectations.
I wonder if the dealers after having been stung with the previous FrSky servo have actually subjected this family of servo to some kind of acceptance criteria before stocking them. Based on the older servo I wouldn't be surprised that the first few production runs of servos didn't pass. Knowing FrSky I'm all but positive that the first production run had a fatal flaw. I hope these didn't make it out into the general public. Whatever the reasons FrSky appears to have lost a lot of marketing momentum with the delay.
I really hope the issue wasn't self induced by FrSky typical lack of product validation but rather a supply chain issue such as motor availability.
So does anybody know what is going on with the F-port Xact servo?

KST HS08
I've noticed that the great X0-8 is all but out of stock. Is this to make room for the new KST HS08? Any ETA on these new servos? All the best, Konrad
