X9 Lite with XJT Lite, no power on module.

Here’s pictures from my 9XD but xlitepro was very similar
It looks like you are making the same error I made.
The "Mode" you have set is "XJT D8".
If you scroll a bit further, you will find "XJT Lite". I believe it is the last option. Once selected, you can choose D*.
I don't know if that will fix the issue, but it is the correct way to set up your transmitter.

My radio does not have XJT lite as an option but if yours does and I think worth a try on yours.
My led on module lights up after beep when selecting XJT D8 and binds with receivers.
My xlite pro beeped also and I can’t remember if it had xlite XJT or just XJT to choose from.

Here’s another page to check.
When module is turned off it will say off but the message in picture is the one I get when it’s turned on and working, light on back of module lights up red after beep.

Mine is working and binds on D16 also but I didn’t upgrade to 2.x firmware.
I have and then it only binds to D8.

Here's my setup...
Sorry pictures are upside down.
I don't get a beep after selecting D8, but I do get repeti beeps after hitting the bind key.

The information thing is only for ACCESS modules, won't populate with ACCST and 3rd party ones.

Found my module again and... yes it works on XJT Lite. Damn, had completely forgotten it was using serial and needed a dedicated choice...

So yeah, I guess the mystery of the non-working XJT Lites is solved...

And that would be???? Sorry, I'm a bit slow.

3 years later. I just purchased an Taranis X LitePro and an XJT Lite module. Same problem. I can not get the power light to stay on.It looks like it is a mechanical mounting issue. If I push the module very hard into the mounting slot on the back of the radio the power light comes on an I can bind receivers. If I take my hand off of the module I lose the power light and bind. It sure looks like it is amounting issue with the XJT Lite module not compatible with newer transmitters. I have the same exact issue when I try with my new Tandem X20. Any one have a solution of info?

Is this with the same module? Sounds like it might be a cold solder joint on one of the pins. I'd try re-flowing the solder around the pins or socket.

If I remember correctly, you have to push pretty hard for the tab to click into place for holding it in. Then it will maintain connection.
