They don't give you the option of V1 or V2. The only offer the selection of FCC etc.Is this what you're looking for?

The only choice when you choose the FCC antenna is the V2 and you're not given the option of choosing the V1.
Aloft has the V2 in stock but not the V1.
Frsky no longer makes the V1 handle. We have been able to source some from them that they are taking off of unsold v1 radios. I kid you not.
Anyhow, the early X18 used the same handle. Jarron here suffered a busted off handle and we ran into this same issue. We even looked into a new back plate so we could use the new style handle. But that was not available either. So he busted out the dremel and in about 1 minute he had the new style much stronger handle fitting. Better than new!
I'll go add this note to the handle product page.

I would have thought that with the handle being a "common" breakable item that FrSky would continue to make them as a replacement part. Obviously not.
It looks like what you are saying is that all you have to do is buy the V2 handle and Dremel off the additional bumps on either side of where the handle pushes into the case to make it fit?
I thought of that first thing when I saw that the V1 wasn't showing up anywhere but I was concerned that it would weaken the handle at that point.
But if that's the only option to keep a fine running X20S in service, I'll just order the V2 handle and get 'er done.

Ok. Got it. Will do. I don't know what I was thinking.Nope- We dremeled the slot in the rear of the radio case to fit the V2 handle. This way you maintain the higher strength handle.Should never need to replace it again.
Alright, I got it and it's in.
As Wayne mentioned, it is the stronger handle/antenna than the original V1 so even if the V1 was still available, you would still want to install this one.
It was quite easy. The only difference is that the handle is wider where it snugs up to the case.
All I did was to use a needle file on both sides of each slot in the case and take the sides down flush to the surface just below it. That would make more sense if you could put your eyes on it.
But it's really easy, and once the case is trimmed, it slipped right in.
So, we're good to go.
