X20S 3rd axis Rudder knob wiring

Does anyone know where to wire in this additional pot? I don't see any spare input terminals and I would like to retail the left rudder stick function. I have searched the web with no luck. Thx

I don’t have that radio (I have the XE) and my solution was to crimp 1.25mm JST female ends (the X20 may have a different size) to the new rudder pot wires and then identify and trace the existing rudder wires from the rudder/throttle gimbal to the connection on the radio, remove them and replace with the ones from your third axis pot. No soldering needed and just be sure to tape the unused wires and secure them where they won’t make contact with anything. While I understand crimping isn’t a skill everyone has one could also cut and splice/solder/heat shrink those wires together, not really pretty but would also work. Not sure about the X20 but the XE does have additional pads to land on, if so that would require some basic radio programming to activate those pads. Either way you will need to calibrate it. Hope this helps. JW

Thanks, I have an XE radio as well and it is totally different with available terminals for the rudder knob.
When I wired the knob (X20S) to the original rudder terminals, the rudder trim operates in reverse. I tried to reverse the knob wiring and it didn't like that. Froze up if I remember right. I put the wires back and just live with a backwards trim button.
Anyone ever accomplished this? Why doesn't the knob include instructions??
I've sent two messages to FrSky with no response, frustrating.
