I don't have this radio, but looking at the pictures of it on the Frsky-rc.com website it shows two holes on the top and bottom on the gimbals (without opening the radio) and it appears that you can use 1.5 mm Hex key and adjust either the rotation for 8 degrees and the gimbal maximum throw from 60 degrees to 45 degrees. The manual that can be found on frsky-rc.com is not very detailed about it, but I guess one hole is for rotation and the other for throw. It might be that they are swapped on the gimbals due to how they are in the housing.
I have seen that, but other documentation indicates those are for adjusting the degrees of stick travel for the x, y axes.
I ‘think’ I found the answer in a video that shows you need to open the case and adjust via the mounting screws internally. I won’t do that after watching another video about opening the case and being very mindful of delicate antenna connections on the back of the case.
inside the radio it shouldn't be a knot problem to adjust the gimbals. u need time and be careful otherwise... most of the new tx have all adjustable screw openings in the transmitter case. all of them are accesible from outside. look your video again if the manual doesn't help.
Thanks for the video, but it does not apply to X20RS, which advertises being able to rotate the gimbals up to 8 degrees. I found my answer in another video. There are four set screws internally for each gimbal—loosen and rotate. The stick travel along x and y axes can be adjusted externally using the provided tiny allen wrench.
I hung up on the wrong gimbals, they'r not
MC11
the radio must have some M20 or MC20R Gimbals. they are within the X20 R, RS and AW version from frsky
another thread suggests that - u can look it up here - #16 gimbals can adjusted internally and externally. But be aware of th is old thread, posted before delivering to aloft...
I attached a picture from an inside look of the X20, maybe you can show how or what have fixed your problem with stick adjustment.
many regards
Thank you for responding. I now understand that the case must be opened on my X20RS to adjust the gimbal angles, I’m not willing to do that based on a bad experience opening a Taranis (and bricking it) in the past.
