Thought I would post here for any X20 owners that might see this. FrSky has been releasing updates for Ethos, for the vast majority of the releases they are mostly improvements and new features. But recently they did make a change that I feel is important enough to post this. With the older versions, the radio relied on some files being on the SD card, if for some reason the radio could not get access to those files it could trigger an error in the radio and a restart. With the newest version of Ethos this is no longer the case, the needed data is read into memory and stored there, so if something happens to the SD card during flight, it will do no harm.
While VERY rare, it was a risk that did not need to be there.
We suggest updating your copy of Ethos. It is a very simple process and I think you will like the other goodies they have been adding. Give it a try, I think you will really like it!
