Not sure this should go in this section or under the ETHOS section. I have had an FrSky X20 radio now for about 3 years. Currently I have also 3 different computers, Laptop Windows 10, Desktop Windows 10 and Desktop Windows 11. For the last months I have been updating the radio connecting it to the laptop using the Ethos Suite app I have installed in there. This has worked smoothly. Since soon I may have to migrate completely to Windows 11, I decided to connect the radio (in bootloader mode) to the Win11 desktop and run Ethos Suite, expecting everything to work fine. But to my surprise Ethos Suite could not detect the radio, and the radio screen keeps flickering the USB Connected message and beeping. The X20 radio does not show up listed in Ethos Suite. Drives D:\ (flash) and E:\ (SD Card) are not detected/mounted to the computer either. If I connect the same radio with the power on it flickers between the Home screen and the pop up to select the USB connection mode. In a couple of occasions I got a small window to pop up with the message "D:\ is not accessible. A device which does not exist was specified."
So is this a Win11 problem? My next step was to attempt the connection to the Win10 desktop and the results were exactly the same. No matter how I did the USB connection to the Win10 computer, Ethos Suite was not able to detect the radio and the external D:\ and E:\ drives.
I also own an FrSky X10E Express radio. It will connect and be detected by Ethos Suite in both the Win10 and Win11 desktops! The X10E only loads one drive, E:\.
Is the problem that the desktops for some reason are not allowing drive D:\ to be connected and the process never gets to connect E:\.
I would appreciate any help/advice from any folks that could have faced a similar situation. Thanks a lot.
