I cannot get the audio tones and the announcements to work. I can assign the vario values to the screen and observe them, just cannot hear them.

Vario settings are at the bottom of the VSpeed telemetry item (long press to access menu). You have to set the active condition here to make it play.

I'm using a GR6 and its working. I just realized that you are talking about an external Vario, so your mileage may vary, this could be a bug.

Yes, an external vario. You were correct about the VSpeed telemetry. To get the altitude call out I used a special function switch to play value of altitude for a given time period.

I love doing an altitude call out to find out how bad my DLG throws are. I'm excited to have it for my Maxa soon!
