x20 controller knobs and tactile accessories for 3 way switches ?

I wanted to replace one of the knobs i lost on my x20 and i have seen some people have special slip on "things" for the 3 way switches. I want to have a tactile way to tell which switch i need to flip without looking at the controller. Just looking to see if anybody has any recommendations

Do they have a way to voice announce when you touch them? I know some radios do that.

Well, for my old X9D+ I had 3D printed different toggle sleeves at different lengths and widths... I even made the knobs bigger and rougher so I could move them easier. Not sure if I kept the files though... If you are Ok with plastic the options are limitless...

FrSky offers their fancy X20 Pro covers in red or black. They are on the site:

Yeah red you can setup the switches to audio anything. Custom audio tracks or directly tell you the value of anything. So for instance on my t28 have the toggle switch setup so that i just tap it and it tells me my pack voltage, than amps, than Rx voltage.

@Wayne thanks those covers will work great. I just want something to reassure myself in flight that i have the right switch. Been a while since i did powered flight and even longer since i did something with retracts, so a lot more stuff to keep in mind while flying.

I usually dont even do HI/mid/lo switches on my gliders.

I hear you. I usually set up my gliders for single switch operation.. I'm too lazy to go looking for switches. LOL

I'm amazed at the folks that can just hit the switches right away. Like some of the drone pilots that use them a lot.

I took a little more time on the programming of the big t28.

steering servo turns off until gear are down, 3 modes for elevator and another for ailerons.
Flap switch, Landing gear switch, throttle cut.

Toggle switch to read off electrical values in flight.

Still need to setup an alarm on the pack voltage and a button to start a timer.

@thenated0g Red is referring not to flipping the switch but touching it. I know at least some of the Spektrum radios have a feature that when just touching a switch it will play audio, so you touch the flap switch, and it says flaps. You move the flap switch, and it tells you the position.

Thats cool.

Those Toggle Switch caps are nice. I put them on the same switch on both sides of the screen. Now i can use them like the home nubs(F and J) on a keyboard to know where my hands are without looking.

I should say, not that I am aware of. LOL Sometimes things sneak past me, but I think that would have caught my eye.

Yesterday I spoke with a clubmember who has a Spektrum ix20SE and that radio has the function to say what a switch does when touching it, but he turned it off because the radio was talking all the time when he touched the switches (they are not too far apart) and when he touched the wrong switch it caused delay in finding the right switch. So, at first it might sound handy, but it may not be for everyone.
