X18SE Transmitter Tray

On the Frsky Aluminum Transmitter tray I am having trouble getting the top two mounts to the transmitter to stay in. It uses some Silicone Grommets that i suppose are supposed to expand. I have tried washers to make it expand more and other grommets. All to no avail.

Anyone had a similar issue? This setup works fine on my X10s Horus.

3d print slightly thicker 98A TPU grommets.

Or get hardware to hard mount it with screws which is how the V1 tray attached to the X20. That was also the tray that had the arms that couldn't close with the radio installed in the tray lol.

Or buy the AHLtec Leonhardt tray.

This tray does fold flat.

I usually have to position the arms to go into the holes on back of radio, but they stay in until I lift the radio out. Great tray.
