x12s stuck button

hello. i currently own an x12s and a x20rs. no plans for the x12s as i bought on a whim then read up on the x20rs. then subsequently bought the x20. but, i have a stuck button on the x12s. how would one figure out what button it is? can i hook up to the computer, would it tell me? The radio works fine and has 2 receivers with it. want to make sure it works then sell it to recoup some of what im into it. thanks in advance. oh btw it has open tx on it.

When i turn it on it says stuck button. I cant go thru any menus and it worked fine a day before I took it to a swap meet. When i turned it on at the swap it says stuck button on the screen. cant figure out what button is stuck. who would i send it into for repairs? kinda wanted to flash it with ethos then try to sell it since i have the x20rs. ill see if i can upload a pic.

Pic of screen stating key stuck

It might be a physical issue, where a button is misaligned and continuously pressing on a switch. To find out if that's what causing it the radio needs to be carefully openened and all buttons checked. If it's not physical, it can be a broken switch requiring switch replacement. The latter is more difficult and requires more advanced experience with (de)soldering.

i have soldering skills. been playing rc since 1990. ran a car track. flown helis planes boats etc. currently racing boats and just getting back to flying. ill open it carefully and see if i can find out what button is stuck.

Sounds like a good plan. Just take care opening it up, the X12S is a bit of a mess to open. Fragile wires spanning boards. My least favorite radio from FrSky. OK - the only one I hate. I don't love the early X-lite either, a royal pain to open without damage.

ok. yeah i have read you dont like the x12. lol. ill be gentle. i did have the back off once to check on the battery. yeah its a pain.
