X10S With ETHOS, ISRM Internal Module Seem Bricked

I can not register new RX modules. There appears to be a problem with the internal tx module. When I try to flash the Internal Module with IRSM-S-X10S.frsk firmware, ETHOS reports "Device not responding". Any idea how to recover the Internal Module?

I had that error. The solution to my error code was to use a new USB cable and another USB port.

Thanks for you reply. Was your Internal module functional at the time? My is not and I tried both the ETHOS Suite (USB) approach and on TX approach, both failed. Any ideas how to force the firmware flashing to the internal module?

Which version of the X10S are you trying to flash with Ethos. The older Non Express radio needs the New ACCESS ISRM RF module for this to work. I'm not even sure if the older X10S is able to run Ethos, but maybe it can?

Sorry I now see this is mainly an X10 question. My experience was with Ethos ( on an X18).

Still often get USB interface issues regardless of hardware I’m using. I always try multiple cables and ports. And if possible even different computers.

Which radio do you have?
Is this an X10S Express or a standard older X10S?
What OS was on it before you tried to update it? What version?
Has it ever been functional for you?
