X10S screen replacement

A couple of years ago I bought a 2nd hand X10S to use in making an update of my custom tray-case radio. Whilst dismantling it to measure all the components I managed to
a) damage the pcb connector for the display cable, dammit, though it seems to connect ok with care
b) crack the rather bad soldering job used to connect the power lines for the display backlight into the flex-cable. Even a skilled (as in experienced satellite maker) solderer couldn't get a good joint.

So I need a replacement display + cable and... nothing. Nobody appears to have had one available in those couple of years. Pointers to anyone that might be able to help would be much appreciated.

You need just a display and the cable for it?

Yup. At least, so far as I know. Everything seems to work and in the right lighting conditions I can make out the display apparently doing its thing in the dark.
I'd even be happy with a 2nd had at this point

Sorry we do not have any used parts for this radio at this time, but I did confirm that we can special order these parts for you and get them to you pretty quick. Please email us contact@alofthobbies.com and we will get this going. I have not yet confirmed the price.. As I recall the displays are on the spendy side, the cable should be cheap.
