I have to say I honestly don't know. I have not seen a battery like that before. Not even from FrSky, and not for the X12S or X10S.... It's almost like it is a third party knockoff battery...
If it were me, and I wanted to replace it, I would get the appropriate cells and cut into it. Or, have one built. Oh, by the way, Aloft can make them.
Yeah, I think that is a stock battery that Frsky did offer for a little while. They have done a few changes with the X10 battery during production. I recall the European dealers talking about this version, bot not sure FrSky ever sent any of them to us.
If you need a battery replacement, we can do that for you, we use name brand 18650 cells with higher capacity. 3500mah.
Interesting.. There was a day and time when we pulled out every transmitter and tested things before we shipped them. Happily those days are long gone, currently only the X20 radios are pulled out before shipping, that is for software updates. From the time of manufacturer to the time they arrive here, there is usually a firmware update worth installing. Ethos makes nice improvements with each release. Hopefully we will get scripting support soon.
I know this is an old post but thanks to Chris & Wayne at Aloft I was able to get the battery management boards (BMS) for the Li-Ion in my 2018 (gen 1) Horus X10. The original pack is getting a little tired. Chris supplied the wiring diagram and tonight I made up a Li-Ion pack using 2 x Samsung 3400 mAh. After wiring the board you have to check the voltage on the 2S connector which should be zero, then jump start the bms by bridging the P- and B- pad and all works well. The pack is now charging so will see what the final voltage is. Thanks again Aloft Hobbies for helping out a fellow modeller in the United Kingdom
