X10S ACCST upgrade service to Access, still available from Aloft?

Does Aloft still offer the upgrade hardware install servce for older X10S to up grade to Access?

Yes, we can do this. As long as we have the hardware from FrSky it should be no problem.

Yes, we do the service to upgrade the ISRM to ACCESS. But, we do not do the changeout of the Bluetooth board. We just don't have the equipment for the fine soldering that is needed for that one. If you don't use Bluetooth it will not matter.
By the time it is done the average cost is around $100.00. That includes the board, the firmware change and update, and the return shipping.

I think the trainer would still work if the radio was equipped with it to begin with... I think that you just will not have OTA firmware writing capability...

The wireless trainer function does require Bluetooth but you can still use a mono 3mm plugged cord if you do not require wireless trainer capability. I just set up the trainer function on two of my X10s express transmitters using the Bluetooth function and it worked very well. I was using the latest version of Open Tx and an 8 channel receiver using ACCESS.
