Hello,
Im sorry if this has been asked and answered, but does the current run of x lite s transmitters work with the IRX4 module. I have alot of spektrum stuff and was hoping it does. I ordered one today.
Thanks, Matt

So i just need to buy the lite and it should work? I bought the transmitter not the module. I have been getting mixed results on if it works with the s or pro.
Thanks

Yes the Lite module works just fine as long as you reflash OpenTX, out of the box support for it won't be present.

Thank you. I mean googling it I was getting mixed results. Some say it works and others say it doesnt. Now if i can find one in stock i dont have to wait 3 months for.

If @Kilrah says it will work, then you can take that to the bank, it will work after you update the OpenTX firmware on the transmitter.

Thanks alot guys. I have one ordered. My x lite s should be here from aloft soon. I was reading about alot of issues initially and was hoping most of them are sorted. I fly fixed wing, but have alot of bnf spektrum stuff too. The older frsky receivers not being compatible completely doesnt really affect me luckily as i dont own any. I will buy new access receivers later when needed.

Thank you! So i updated the firmware to the newest version on opentx.org. i think its version 2.3.11 otx or something like that. The bootloader is updated too. Should i be good to use the irx4 lite when it arrives? I mean obviously i have to learn how to create a model in open tx first lol. Some of my planes have landing gear and flaps, so the learning xurve is real. Coming from Spektrum it's much more complex, but i can see there is a ton more features. I really like it so far. I gotta say from what i have seen the first time messing with Opentx, I'm really impressed. I've been missing out. Thanks again and I'm sure I'll be back with more dumb questions

After you get used to programming OpenTX, it suddenly becomes much easier then Spektrum. No more digging around in the menus looking for that feature..

Honestly, once I have a program I am really happy with, I tend to copy it, zero everything out and then dial it in for the new model. This saves time and makes my programming very consistent.
