Who flies hotliners?

I ended up digging out a couple APC 5.25x6.25 props and threw one on to test with the watt meter and this is what I got with a fully charged 4s pack. I think Ill try flying it next time with this prop and see how it does. Did one test with a pack at 3.8 volts and another test with the fully charged pack. Each run was about 3-5 seconds and done back to back. The motor was barely warm to the touch after the second run. Thoughts?

Interesting, give it a try, it should give you some more speed.

Got a couple flights on the Pilf this morning with the 5.25x6.25 prop and it was much happier. Seemed faster and came down warm but not hot on the motor. Could easily hold my fingers on it after landing. Overall, super happy with it and looking forward to flying it again. Thanks @Jarron

Good afternoon y’all, how’s are you hotliners? it’s been wet and soggy, but I was able to get out today. And I’m kind of a dodo bird. First flight was my Corsa. 5s 13x10 about 1300-1400watts… Then I flew typhoon/Tocc oh did it make some noise!! now to the dodo bird part? 16x17 prop set up for 3s!’ my new tattu batteries!!! oops put one in that 3s set up. The new batteries 4s i’ll show y’all the data log I tested it. It’s about 2200W at 157A from the castle speed control when I get home. all fine. It was hot as shit. I guess that’s why they call it Hotliner.

Typhoon/Tocc is happy with 4s 13x13 Watt measured after a quick flight a little higher on a fully charged. I gotta go storm coming
