What? no candy!

Ya know, I was gong to buy a different radio but was told Aloft gives CANDY with their orders so I bought a Frsky X20 here instead. I did indeed get candy with the X20 and then on a few subsequent orders. Now I'm just buying RX's and feel like I've been relegated to second class citizen because there's no candy with my relatively small orders. I think the "we ran out" excuse is kind of weak, almost as bad as "mice got to the candy" excuse. I think the REAL reason is that I'm not buying enough stuff. There's a secret threshold for receiving or NOT receiving candy "hey, this guy ordered just one GR8 rx, don't give him any candy"

It may be no big deal to you but I sat around for days and days waiting for my aloft order to arrive. Every time the mailman went by I'd race out to the mailbox only to return empty handed. When the package finally DID arrive, I jumped for joy and excitedly opened the box in front of my wife exclaiming that there would be CANDY inside. You know the rest of the story. Very sad

I think you might need to re-assess what gets you excited.

I think we all understand the anticipation waiting for our order from Aloft. And yes, they are purveyors of the smoothest glider candy. Not so sure I'd be looking at them for my high end sugar fix. There are cheaper calories to be found. And dare I say better ones that dance on the palate.

I hope aloft never runs out of candy again after this. I hesitated to post about the missing candy but thought it was important to expose the situation. Thankfully, it appears that the problem has been rectified and we can put CANDY-GATE to rest once and for all.

I don't know what I'm getting (assuming candy) but I will be sure to post pictures. I haven't mentioned anything to the wife so it will be great to open a box from Aloft and see candy even though I didn't order anything. It will be total redemption. And yes, Aloft has been a good sport through all this.
