What means an exclamation mark next the speaker icon?

Hello. I’m helping a fiend withs this. A couple days ago was flashing an SR10+ using the external module pins on his taranis x9 (ACCST version), since then the radio do not bind or recognize any previous binded receivers. What happened or whats next to fix this?

Did he update the firmware on the radio during this process?

My guess is that he updated the ACCST firmware to version 2.XX and it was on version 1.XX prior. These two versions of firmware do not talk with one another. If this is the case, he will need to either take the radio back to V1 or bring his other receivers up to version 2. We suggest bringing the receivers up to version 2 as version one has a rather major bug in the firmware that could crash his planes.
 
I agree with always checking for the ACCST v1, v2 incompatibility issue.

But what does that exclamation mark indicate?
 
I just played with the volume on the simulator and when I turned the overall volume down to "off" I got:
