What is the value of S-Bus as there are so few S-bus servos?

I'd like to update this discussion. Now that Corona has come out with a wide range of S-Bus compliant servos and a S-Bus programing Card that works with these servos, I think the landscape for the use of S-Bus servo in mid to low cost models has changed.
