Frank tells the story of the raffle plane as the most expensive free thing he ever received. He had to get a hangar to store it, shortly after getting it home it needed a new engine as something went wrong with the rebuild, etc.. It is kind of funny. But it was his baby for sure. Best looking Cub I have ever seen and the controls were light and comfortable! I now know why many people love the Cubs, they really are sweet planes.

Well 2 years later and I'm comfortable enough thinking that Ethos has reached a level of maturity, that I've made the jump with the purchase of 2 X18. What really drove this was that the floor (noise) on 2.4gHz with the advent of G5 really has gotten bad. This has gotten to be a problem with my Spektrum radios and I've noticed at times my FrSky radios are giving me RF warning a lot earlier.

With the Dual band 2.4 gHz and 900mHz I've regained my full confidence in the RF link.

Oh, BTW Ethos is great! Thanks to Mike Shellim's templet I haven't lost anything in the switch from OTX with my F3F racers.
