HI, IM CONFUSED TO GET S BUS TO WORK FOR THE EXTRA CHANNELS OF S-BUS TO BE ABLE TO USE STABILIZATION ON S8R RECVR.? what board or what ever i need. says need channel 10 and 11 to work. dosn't tell you that you cant use unless using s-bus in description ch-10-11 thanks any help is sincerely appreciated BRETT

The S8R uses channels 9-12 internally, you don't need an external SBUS decoder.
Make sure you have the protocol on the Tx set to send channels 1-16 (not 1-8).
Also make sure you have channel 9 (master gain) configured to allow stabilisation to function (source a pot, weight 50%, offset 50%, then turn the pot fully clockwise = 100% gain).

HI MIKE B THANKS A MILLION THEY DON'T TELL YOU THAT. SO BIND TO D 16 AND IT DOES IT?THAN WERE WOULD I PLUG SERVOS,WHAT DO I JUST USE SWITCHES TO GET GAIN AND FLIGHT MODES,AM I ON THE RIGHT TRACK? BUT IF I WANTED A SERVO PLUGGED IN THAN I WOULD I NEED A DECODER? THANKS BRETT

Yes the S8R decodes the channels required for gain and flight modes internally in the receiver. Just plug the servos for your control surfaces as specified in the receiver manual. yes you will need to setup some switches and a pot to control the flight modes and gain. No external decoder is required, it all happens inside the receiver.
