Vari Altimeter sensor not connecting with SR10+

I just updated the SR10+ to version 1.0.10. It "talks with the LiPo sensor, but does not talk with the Vari ADV. With the RX on and the TX off, the Vari flashes its green light, and as soon as the TX is on and the RX is connected to the TX, the Vari's light goes off forever.
I did a Discovery sensor procedure and the Vari was not discovered.
Any ideas?

Where did you connect the Alt sensor to the receiver, it needs to be connected to the S-port connector the Archer SR10+ has some configurable ports, you need to follow the manual on how to achieve this.

I didn't get it. Maybe I am more lost than I think I am. There is a mini white connector in the SR10s, near the antennas that is supposed to be the optional SPort and some other option I don't use. This connector ends in 4 wires, black, red, yellow, and blue. The three first are supposed to be used for the SPort. To those three I connected both, the LiPo sensor and the Vari. The Lipo gives me data, the Vari no. I guess I am missing something. I will follow your suggestion and take a look at the manual.

You are correct the SR10+ also has the S-Port on the small side connector. So after you perform a discover sensors which sensors appear in the Telemetry list. You should see two additional sensors ALT and Vspd. If this is the case its all working.

Unfortunately, those two sensors do not show. To be sure, I deleted all sensors and set the discovery on and those two didn't want to show. I did the same with the LiPo and that one showed its value. I cannot understand why when the RX/TX link is up it seems like the sensor shuts down. The LED stays OFF, while when the TX is OFF the sensor's LED is flashing. Would it make sense to reload the FW? I noticed that the Vari FW has not been changed. I will add some recent news: In the middle of writing this reply, I decided to install the sensor in an X8R with the V2 version, the same TX, and the sensor works perfectly. This leaves me with two guesses: either the RX FW 2.0.6 is missing some line of code or there is a new setup in the new FW that is required to use the sensor.

I think I found the problem. I have the SPort in the little connector (or one of the cables) dead. I configured one of the 10 ports as SPort and now the Vari is working as expected. Now I will try the FW update using that port.

OK. this issue is solved. I will open a new topic about the FW update because it is not working OTA or cable.
