Using an I-Range IRX4 Lite module with the FrSky X-Lite S to operate an AR6400 park flyer-style brick.

Anybody using the above combo to good effect?
Setting the gizmo up for a small, simple glider on just 2 channels, rudder & elevator, and so far I am only able to get a response from ONE channel on the AR6400 brick.
In this model, that's the elevator. I have elevator (channel 2) control function, but no rudder yet.

So THAT's the problem I'm asking advice about: How to get the other control imputs functioning on the AR6400 brick, using an X-Lite S transmitter.
  • I have the transmitter set up per the instructions for using the IRX4 Lite module with the AR6400 brick, which is on the DSM2 protocol.
  • I checked this against another AR6400 unit and apparently they both have the same problem so far.
  • The FrSky X-Lite S + IRX4 module combo works properly with a different receiver, a Tactic-brand receiver that operates on the "SLT" protocol.
  • This X-Lite S transmitter works fine for me with FrSky RX4R receivers, etc.
So... Anybody had luck with the X-Lite S + IRX4 + AR6400 combo?

Some things to try:
cut the channel range down to 8 or less channels
Try assigning multiple different channels to the rudder or aileron input. (Thinking that maybe Spektrum uses channel 3 or 4 for rudder??)

I imagine one of those will fix the issue.
