Upgraded and bricked it

New X9D+ SE radio, blue version, the 2.3.14 had a problem where I couldn't select all the switches when programming things. Went to 2.3.15 and now it won't boot up. I made an SD card with the 2.3.14 but it won't see the card at all. Worst part is it's not my radio, it's a friend's but I can't figure out what's wrong and how to fix it. How can I go backwards? Delete the EEPROM? Maybe upgrade the Bootloader?

Can you get to the bootloader screen? "couldn't select all the switches when programming" sounds like it originally had a deeper hardware issue, and not just mucked up software. It may have failed completely. But if you can at least get to the bootloader, then as gnichola noted you may be able to flash the firmware as his instructions indicate. OpenTX on an x9D doesn't need the SD card to operate normally except for secondary things like sound and pictures. But if you can't access the card at all to get to the firmware file....
