One other question
I just went from opentx to ethos on x10s and x12s.
Uni Activate and Uni sxr scripts are working fine and are shown on the last page of the SYS menu.
Uni Stat runs as a widget on a full screen.

But i can’t find out how to run the settings script.

Try unzipping the attached into your \scripts\uniset folder on the SD card.
These work for me on my X20.

Mike pretty much cured the random servo movement with the UNI firmware, even when using the RF modules with the V1 firmware.

As an Ethos beginner, I must be doing something wrong. As everything works under Opentx.
I added printscreens of ssdcard and xz10s display
Should UniSet also be displayed under 'system'? Or should it be run otherwise?

I have the same issue of settings icon not showing with Ethos 'uniset2_0fix' on my Horus X10 ISRM however after rolling back to 'uni 2 beta' it now works!
I recently upgraded to Ethos version 1.5.15 after installing uniset2_0fix so whether that caused the issue.

Script runs fine. But the 'tuning' option ON/OFF does not seem to work. Toggles OFF again after a new bind.

Edit2: used an old X9d plus with opentx with xxSET script to test.
After bind the tuning says -15 OFF
Turn it ON with xxSET, turn rx and tx battery power off, repower and rerun the script it still says tuning ON.
Rebind, rerun the scipt and it says tuning -10 OFF

- could there be something wrong in the script or the s8r firmware?
- could the lua script in the "UNI receiver Firmware Release FIles (Universal ACCST D16)" Thread be modified to work with latest Ethos?

This link below for the uniset 2 which worked for showing the icon however,as you stated, it has the lua errors showing on the info screen; which is why Mike produced the fixed version which now does not show in System on my Ethos version 1.5.15 (I am pretty sure it worked okay on previous version of Ethos).

Just tested XSR and X8R with Beta 2, they keep there ON tuning setting also after a rebind
Although they both have 0 as a value....

Edit 2, unfortunately these two don't keep a OFF setting. They turn to ON after a bind

I apologize if this has been asked and answered previously, but if I update my existing D8 receivers with the new UNI firmware, does that mean that these older D8 receivers will work natively with a new X20 transmitter (i.e. with no mini-XJT module)?

Having checked the source code, it looks like TUNING is always enabled now, regardless of what the UNIset LUA reports.

I'll see if I can update Ethos on my X20 to 1.5.15, then investigate the script problem. I actually use ErskyTx on my X20 (dual boot with Ethos).

If you update a D8 receiver with UNI, then it works in D16 mode (no D8 anymore), but will then bind to any Tx in ACCST D16 mode.

Hi Mike. I saw the script has been updated.
Fyi, there were 2 errors with it. The 1st doesn't exist anymore but the 2nd still remains.
It occurs when clicking on the reset button.

Uni has not been considered for the Archer Plus receivers as they already support ACCST as well as ACCESS.
You are the first to ask about UNI on a PLUS receiver!

I fly both, no issues. A fellow pilot seems to have issues with ACCESS, so he asked me about the Archer Plus R6. I wonder if he’s truely using ACCESS, will need to find out…

i do assume you're using a stab receiver (which was not supported) ?
i'm still waiting for some response of a beta tester, i don't own a srx

Yes,I am using the stabilized receivers but I am confused as to what is not supported as the uniset script seemed to work before updating Ethos.
The uniset 2 beta2 script now displays however it is still showing an error.
