TX16s Transmitter issue

BoundForPNG

New User
I bound it with an X8R Receiver and it worked fine but mid air it glitches and went into a power dive. I then tried it with a FD1A10b Receiver and it seemed to work fine but ever once in a while the throttle would run up for just a second and then back down. I also get the same behavior with my HK 6s. Has anybody else had this kind of problem or know what may be causing the problem.

What is a TX16S? Is this one of those off brand Transmitters?
If so it is my understanding that they often need the RF section retuned to the RX.

What RF protocol are you using? I assume that with an off brand TX that it is ACCST.
Are you aware that their is a gross safety issue with this RF protocol. It has to do with allowing corrupted data packets to pass to the decoder. This is also known as uncommanded servo movement (USM). This can be very dangerous. FrSky has a fix for this. Download ACCST v2.1.xx from their web site. Please note that both the RX and TX RF sections need to be on the same higher revision number (v2.x.xx)

P.S.
What is a FD1A10b reciever? I figured out HK 6s is a Hobby King 6s Tx. These are not legal in the USA so I assume you are not in the states. This can bring up other issues with FCC/LBT software.

So it is an off brand TX.
Wow, the X8R will listen to a FlySky protocol?

I'm sorry other than OpenTX and the X8R on ACCST protocols I know nothing of your hardware/software combination..

Konrad they have an MPM in them, so can pretend to be many protocols.

Sounds like you need to send the radio in for service. Try contacting the company that made it and see what they will do for you.

Thanks Wayne. There is so much junk out there that I can't be bothered to know all the interaction nuances.

Just keeping the major players straight is often more than I can deal with!

I had sometimes the same problem with Radiomaster TX16s. I've destroyed 4 planes, always is the same, lost the control arround 2 o 3 seconds.
I think is when my friend with other Radiomaster are close me.
Im open a ticket in Radiomaster web, but in this moment they dont give me any solution.

I had this problem with different reveivers of FRSKY and DEVO.

Sorry to learn of this. I wish you the best of luck with RadioMaster.

In the meantime, can I interest you in looking at one of these. Much better value and customer support!
