Twin Lite PRO Module

Hello,

I have a friend who is using the Twin Lite Pro Module in his X20 Pro and TW receivers for his F5J sailplanes. He swears by it, extra range and such. Is this a upgrade I should consider using TW receivers? I am flying a X20 R.

Hey Ed,

Going to guess that you are using the ARCHER receivers right now. These are a single RF system. The TWIN and TANDEM are dual RF systems offerings greater redundancy, and yes, far greater range.

The advantage for the TWIN system is mostly for gliders and small planes as the TWIN antennas are much smaller than the 900 mhz antenna used on the TANDEM receivers.

So it really comes down to what you are flying, and how you are flying those models. Arguments can be made for each system. I guess that is the beauty f FrSky offering us some many options. We have choices.

Thank Wayne, I think I will give a TW receiver a try. Trying to get anything to fit in these new F5J fuses is an adventure.
