Hi all! I just spoke with Wayne a few minutes ago and he told me that Marin county, where the Aloft store resides, has no power today care of PG&E’s efforts to reduce wildfires. He told me to relay to you all that while the online store is up and running, no orders will be processed until the power comes back on. I would further clarify that once the power comes back on it may take some time for services such as their internet to be reinstated. Obviously without the internet working they cannot process queued orders.

They will return as soon as they possibly can, We just ask that you be patient with them until that time when things settle down with power & services again. Thanks for your understanding!

Wow, 2019 is looking like a horrible time line. Who would have thought that our power grid would be less reliable that what I had to deal with in the deep jungles of South America during the 60's !

I hope all is well with the crew as there have been a lot of fires in the area despite the PG&E outages. Yesterday was another bad day for fires.

All the best,
Konrad

You were in the deep jungles of South America in the 60's?

Well, we have power today and are shipping out all of the orders and trying to get caught up on emails. They tell us they will be cutting the power again, we shall see.

The cutting of the power is one things, we could deal with that, but seems our internet service provider sucks and also loses service when the power goes out. Good thing we went with that huge monopolistic ISP so we would avoid issues like this.. Wonder if our AT&T DSL line was working.. I didn't test it during the outage.

On the plus side, hobby gear works well for powering my house during the outages.
