TD R10 will not work after successful registering and binding.

First, I got a X20Pro Aw about a month ago. I have been learning how to use it and was able get my TD R10 to Register and bind to my "test" airplane. (My test airplane is a mockup of a plane with ailerons, elevator, rudder, flaps and landing gear on a foam board, I can use to test radio setups anywhere around the house. It is crude but functional)
I tried to use the TD R10 last night and it would connect and showed bound to the R10 but nothing works. I replaced the R10 with a Specktrum receiver (I have the multiprotocol module) and all the controls worked. I am following the instructions for the R10 too.
Can anyone give me an idea what to look for, or check or redo?

Thanks,
Donn

Well, don't have a lot to go on here. I assume you are binding in tandem mode using the internal RF module. There is an extra step where you start with binding, then the next step is registering. Both steps must be completed to work. After that just have some mixing and you are good to go.

Wayne, I did use the internal RF, then registered the Td R10. Then I was able to bind it. That was last week. But it wasn't bound when I tried to use it yesterday. I actually printed the receiver manual and followed it. I started over and got it to bind but no controls work.

Hey Donn,

Sounds like there may be something wrong with the receiver. If you bought it from us, please send an email to contact@alofthobbies.com and we will start the return process for you. Just let them know we discussed on the forum.

When we receive it here we will give it some testing and see what we can find.

Sound good?

Wayne,
I started over from scratch. Since my mock up allows me to swap anything, motor, esc, receiver, I unplugged everything from the receiver and replugged everything. I had the motor plug, one aileron, the flaps and landing gear plug in backwards. Getting old and the eyes need more light
BTW. The green light was on, then blinked off, the red light flashed a bit and the green came on again repeatedly while I had the plugs backwards.
I will try to remember that in case I do the plugs backwards again

Thanks for taking the time to reply.

Thanks for reporting back! Great you got it figured out and moving forward again!!
