Tandem XE and XJT Lite module

I am using a XJT Lite external module on my Tandem XE. It does not snap in very well and disconnects regularly. I am shy about trying to force to latch more positively. Does anyone have a suggestion for solving this?

It sounds like your XJT Lite module isn't securing well in your Tandem XE. You might try adding a small piece of foam or non-conductive material between the module and bay to help keep it snug without forcing it. Alternatively, double-check that both contacts are aligned properly, as sometimes a slight misalignment can lead to loose connections.
