Finally was able to rent a trailer for Sunset. My wife issued the command that she would like to join us again, but would not stay in a tent. Fine by me!

This means better food at camp Aloft. Planning to do the breakfast burritos again. Hmm, maybe some pizzas in the evenings? Give me a shout if you are interested so I can plan how much food to bring.
let Nate and me know what we can contribute since we'll be stopping at costco on our way. We can get breakfast foods etc....

Kyle is bringing the entire family. He just sent a photo of the plane his daughter built for Sunset.

Hey all we wanted to remind you all about the Potluck Diner saturday night. This is a fun tradition we have had every year for Sunset. Last year we had a number of folks that didn't understand how the diner works, so a quick explanation.

It is really simple, just bring a meal item or two to share with the others. It should be something yummy, and at least enough for a couple of people to enjoy with you. The most popular options are warm items since we are all camping, but if that is not an option for you, perhaps some sort of a salad or similar.

Please plan ahead and bring something you would like to share, something you would be happy to enjoy yourself.

Please avoid things like bags of chips, uncooked hot dogs, or cans of soda. Chances are we all have that stuff already.

There are camp fires at each camp site, and we will be have some larger fires at the main camp prior to and during the meal. There is a small chance we may have a working microwave in our trailer at the main camp. (Please PM me to confirm if you are planning to use it. It will be a rather small oven.)

We always have a lot of fun and always eat way too much! This is when we have a lot of fun sharing stories and getting to know one another. It is part of the magic of the Sunset gathering.

Take care all - Really looking forward to seeing you all very soon!

Yep - You are in the main group camp with us. :)

Potluck Diner is in campsites 36 and 37, these are the biggest sites close to the slope.
We will have a number of tables for the food, 2 fire rings going, etc.
Please bring your own chairs, utensils, plates and drinks.
