Looks good to me - But that temp swing is HUGE. Maybe get one of the newer digital irons. Finally got my SST wing covered and Im happy enough with it... Covering has never been my strong suit so I struggled a bit. I did some reading and learned I was doing it wrong which didnt help. I tried the correct method which was better but Im still not great at it.
Also learned that my old Hanger 9 iron has a huge temp range in each setting. If I have it set around 300 degrees, it drops to about 225 before heating up againI think I need to invest in a new iron at some point.
Ordered some orange covering film today to do something similar on the other side then I need to cover the elevons and she'll be about done.

Ill have a battery power station that should be able to support some ironing I think. Its small but could workAnybody bringing a generator this year? May need to do a little bit of ironing on site again. Traveling wiped me out, having a hard time getting motivated to finish stuff
Yea sounds good. I have small solar panels that came with mine but they are slow. My In-laws live just a few miles away on Buena Vista so easy to run over there if needed too.I have one that i can use as well (but just in case be nice to quick charge off of a generator). Thats how i did the p38 last year. I bring 300w of solar with me but sometimes the sky doesnt cooperate.
I'll have one, you are welcome to it.Anybody bringing a generator this year? May need to do a little bit of ironing on site again. Traveling wiped me out, having a hard time getting motivated to finish stuff
