I had made a really stupid mistake when I was soldering on the extensions for the battery to RX connection. I reversed the male and female side.
So what that meant is when I went to charge it I was actually plugged into the receiver which made the servos jump, but what it sounded like to me was I shorted the battery. So thinking I had just destroyed the battery I totally sliced up all the way across on that connection only to realize that everything was perfectly fine. I had just reversed the leads. And I was so mad at myself for messing up my nice new looking wing that I walked away from my shop for a couple weeks and it took me a while to get back to it.

Tail feathers are all hinged, but it’s too cold and wet for primer. I went ahead and got the control horns and push roads installed. I dug out some of my vintage pattern MK aluminum control horns for the elevators, and a carbon horn for the rudder. I used Tomas Liu Studio clevis and carbon pushrods.
Hopefully the rain will quit and I can get some primer sprayed. I’m using an automotive urethane, so I can’t spray that indoors.
Sunset is rapidly approaching and I had to do something as it appears Bam Bam's are not readily available Apparently it was quietly resting in OC for the last 25 years.
