ST8+ receiver on access

I have a new just received SR8+ receiver. EDGETX, using FrSky Gyro Suite from Github for EDGETX.

I have been successful in using the edge scripts for the sr8+ as mentioned above. I have an issue that I can't resolve. Surfaces move according to sticks and to stabilization selections. The issue that I have is in auto-level mode, banking left provides the appropriate aileron correction (single servo for both ailerons) up to upright/wings horizontal, if I continue rolling to the right the ailerons snap to full left aileron control, opposite direction, and no stick input changes this.
I have used both V1 and V3 versions of calibrate, stickcalibrate and setup within the suite, just trying all options.

Perhaps someone might have an idea that might fix this.

I have reset this receive 5-6 times, re registered the complete setup, did setup in the Gyro Suite, calibration of controls and of receiver, always the same result.

Is the receiver mounted in the correct direction. (Normally the pin 1 (for Servo 1 )) should point to the back of the plane.)
Mounting the other way round makes it difficult to get the setup right.
And do check which Firmware version is on the receiver.
I use a SR8+ firmware V3.0.3 (consequently with the V3 Setup scripts) and it works correct.

The receiver was mounted on the side wall of the aircraft. The instructions show how to mount it. ALTHOUGH!!!, if you mount it on one side wall it works, the other, it's all backwards. To resolve the issue the roll axis had to be reversed. Seen also on RCGroups, the fellow (Farzu, Frankie Arzu) that adapted the FRSKY script for edgeTX agreed that it was confusing and difficult to explain.
So, if you set one up and as you perform a roll, and the ailerons flip the opposite direction, reverse that direction and it will work. Basically, it's not as it is described. If you read on RCG, you'll find many that could not figure this out and purchased another gyro turning this off. Anyone doing this with Ethos will have the same results.

Yes, works fine,, you just have to outsmart the LUA. Installed exactly as described, but when you rock the plane (roll) the ailerons snap over center. That means the receiver is 'upside down' . But what is upside down when it's mounted on the side of the fuselage. One side would work, the other not. If mounted on right side it would be fine, you would never know about this.. Mount it on the left and... "GO FIGURE".
Hey Alois, thanks for caring and asking!
