SR8 pro access receiver stopped working

I flew my Freewing Avanti S jet on Saturday all was working well, went out on Sunday and the only thing that would work was the flips and gear. I tried the self-check and all the controls seem to work in self check mode but nothing works in flight mode, other the flips and landing gear. This is the second time this has happened with a SR8 pro receiver. Does anyone have any idea about what is going on? I guess I am fortunate it happen on the ground not in the air. Lucky me.

What fw level are you running? There was a release on 7/21 that may be applicable. I think it also goes with new ISRM and tx updates.

2.1.14: Fixed the issue of no PWM output caused by abnormal conditions in the S.Port link such as unregular data sent by unknown devices in connection or exceeding the limitation of devices connected in the S.Port link (>27 units).

Don’t think the fix in the new RX firmware addresses what you are seeing. It is my understanding that the firmware address the lock out as a result of too many sensors ID's on the S-Port. If you don’t use too many S-Port ID's then the new firmware will most likely not address your issue.

ISRM 2.1.9 FW update compatibility with Uni RX?

I've noticed a new release for the ISRM that requires a comparable RX update (2.1.8 for ACCeSS and 2.1.9 for ACCST). I don't see any new FW updates for the XJT module. Is the Uni RX firmware compatible with the new FrSky ISRM release?

Thinks guys, for the help. I guess it would be best to just buy a new one. I am unsure if sending it out for repair would worth it and I don't know where I would send it to for repairs. Oh I don't understand why the self check worked on the old receiver and it does not work with the new receiver then you got to self check is not highlighted on the SxR screen.
